Elliot Springs Newsletter Autumn 2022

What an exciting time to be part of the Elliot Springs community! A big, warm welcome to all our new residents who have recently moved into their new Elliot Springs home. There is an overwhelming sense of community here that continues to strengthen with monthly Friday Food Truck events, community markets and Neighbour Days. Our neighbourhood has become a special place dedicated to community, collaboration and connection. In the spirit of keeping it local - if you know of anyone wanting to walk to work, BP Elliot Springs is looking for a new starter to join their customer service team working in the kitchen. Pop in for a chat or apply online: www.seek.com.au/job/56892756 If you have any questions about the events or initiatives covered in this newsletter, or are looking for a way to get involved and connected in your community, you can reach us on email: elliotspringscommunity@lendlease.com Hello, Elliot Springs! Let’s make your community initiative happen! The Elliot Springs Community Grants program has linked residents’ arms, helping to build a vibrant, engaged and connected community. A partnership between Lendlease and the Community Enterprise Foundation, the Elliot Springs Community Grants Program is an initiative which aims to build capacity of local community groups, not-for-profits and social enterprises through projects and initiatives that support environmental, economic and social outcomes. Since the program’s inception, 10 local initiatives have been awarded with close to $15,000 in funds, for projects supporting the Elliot Springs community. The latest round is open until 3 June and offers grants from a total funding pool of $5,000. Another round will open later this year.
