Start your next chapter at Shoreline Community grants program brings local initiatives to life Community groups shape our growing community in Shoreline. Recognising the importance of building communities from the ground up, Lendlease introduced the Shoreline Community Grants in 2021, supporting a range of initiatives across the Redland Bay region. Congratulations to Running Wild who recently received a grant. The project will engage youth participants of Running Wild learning programs to collect seeds and cuttings, propagate native plants to tube stock for residential planting and initiate community education. Read more on page 11. Inspiring Brighter Futures Foundation were recently awarded a community grant which they will use to deliver their Onwards & Upwards wellbeing mentoring program. The program will be delivered to a group of Year 11 students attending YMCA Vocational School at Victoria Point in 2023. Running Wild’s plant progation in action Additional school bus services at Shoreline in Term 1 2023 A new morning and afternoon southern route school bus service will be servicing the Shoreline community from Term 1 2023. This new service will provide connection to Chisholm Catholic College, Kimberley College, Carbrook State School and Calvary Christian College. This new Transdev service is in addition to the northern direction morning and afternoon bus that connects with Victoria Point State High School, Redland Bay State School, St Rita’s Catholic School, Faith Lutheran College, Carmel College and Bayview State School.
