Springfield Rise Autumn 2022 Newsletter

A fantastic community turn out for the Neighbour Day barbecue and family movie night in Ben Nevis Park This year we celebrated Neighbour Day in true Springfield Rise style! On Saturday, 26 March we welcomed the community to the newly opened Ben Nevis Park for a barbecue and family movie night under the stars. It was great to see so many of you there connecting with your neighbours and building a community to be proud of, one relationship at a time. What a great way to welcome our new neighbours! A special thanks to Spring Mountain State School P&C and Pioneers Basketball Club for running the barbecue, Springfield Division Neighbourhood Watch for attending and Springfield Scouts for all the movie treats. From neighbours to friends! What an exciting time to be part of the Springfield Rise community! As we reflect on what our community has achieved since we began, there is an overwhelming sense of community that has been built at every event, meet up and initiative so far. From the Neighbour Day events at Ben Nevis Park, to the community garden project at Spring Mountain State School and everything in between, Springfield Rise has become a special place dedicated to community, collaboration and connection. If you have any questions about the events or initiatives covered in this newsletter, or are looking for a way to get involved, you can reach us via email at springfieldrisecommunity@lendlease.com Hello, Springfield Risers!
