INCUBATOR
The Fashion Incubator is an
initiative designed to support our
very own local design talent, which
comes to life on the first weekend
of every month in an interactive
pop-up market at Sunshine Plaza.
It provides a platform for local
students to get first hand experience
in the business of fashion as well as
expose their own designs and labels.
The market gives the opportunity
to buy unique designer fashion,
without the designer price tags!
The initiative has been a huge success
in our other Queensland centre –
Cairns Central – becoming a platform
for designers to get a step up into
the fashion industry. Grace Lillian Lee,
a young designer who took part in
the Cairns Central Fashion Incubator
recently showcased her work at
Australian Indigenous Fashion Week.
The pop-up fashion market will
launch on May 3 and 4 on Level 1,
outside Myer and continue on the
first weekend of every month.
Let’s support these talented
designers as they showcase their
diverse designs and embark on
flourishing career paths.

“These days it’s difficult
for students to get a foot
into the Fashion World.
We are so excited about
this unique opportunity to
showcase our designs and
sell to customers in the
biggest shopping centre
on the Coast.”
