Calderwood Valley Autumn 2023 Newsletter

3 Skin and beauty therapist, Amber Ellis, is bringing relaxation and restoration to locals with her home day spa haven, AE Beauty. When did you found AE Beauty, and why? Amber: I have been a beauty therapist for 19 years now. I have owned a day spa in Sydney for 3 years, worked in various award winning skin and laser clinics all over Sydney. When we started to build our home in Calderwood Valley, I thought it would be a great time to introduce a new beauty studio. My goal is to listen to my client and achieve great skin but also incorporate complete relaxation and restoration. What can clients expect from AE Beauty? Amber: I offer a range of facial treatments including LED, peels, nano-pore needling and derma planning, as well as waxing, massage, spray tans, tint and lash lifts. I’ve created a space that is completely tranquil, with a big comfortable bed that’s heated with blankets in winter, a candle lit teapot with herbal tea, and relaxing music, so you can really enjoy special time to yourself. We are also lucky enough to have uninterrupted views of the escarpment out the back of our home, which clients can enjoy with my “spa package”, which includes relaxing in a jacuzzi with champagne, cheese and wine platter with a friend! What do you love most about living and working in Calderwood Valley? Amber: My husband Mitch and I have two kids and a newborn baby, and absolutely love living here. Surrounded by so much beautiful landscape, and all the future planned amenities and infrastructure within the estate, a wonderful and caring community, and the perfect place to raise our young family.
