Stephanie - more commonly known as Steph among her colleagues - began working for Lendlease in 2020 in the global brand and production team, assisting teams across the United States, United Kingdom and Asia. Wanting to get more experience in local community projects, Steph saw an opportunity to apply for a Property Marketing Executive role with Lendlease, which sees her working across the Jordan Springs, Kings Central and Calderwood Valley projects. We sat down with Steph to learn a little more about her role and what she loves about our local Jordan Springs community. What made you decide to pursue a career in marketing? I’ve always known I wanted to do marketing, even in high school. I loved brands and knew I wanted to be Meet Stephanie, Property Marketing Executive at Jordan Springs! in a corporate role. With marketing, you do get to be more creative which I’ve always considered myself to be - I’m perhaps not as creative in the way that an artist or architect might be, but I think marketing suits my skills perfectly. What do you love about your current role as Property Marketing Executive? I was really keen to get into marketing for communities as it’s more hands on with marketing and media plans as well as being more customer facing. My previous role was more internal within Lendlease, so I wanted to go consumer-side again and market to external audiences and be involved with the sales team, learning what development managers do and having the opportunity to be more creative. What are some of the most enjoyable parts of working for Lendlease Communities? Internally, it’s the culture - all the people are lovely that I work with here at Lendlease. Externally, working in communities, you get to sell that Australian dream of owning your own home which I do love. I’ve always been interested in property as well, especially within the last few years where I’ve embarked on my own property journey. As someone who spends a bit of time in Jordan Springs, what are some of your favourite aspects of the community? I think at Jordan Springs, it’s so nice that you’re so close to nature, yet everything you need is right there on your doorstep. You feel like you’re so close to the bush, and I love all the nature and parklands that you’re close to!
