Keep an eye on the Jordan Springs Facebook page for more. • To ensure your heater is only heating rooms you need to use, make sure doors and curtains are closed. Set your heater between 18 and 20 degrees, as every degree higher can increase your bill by around 15 per cent. • Treat your heater as a last resort by warming up in other ways. Wear extra layers and a beanie, use warmer bedding, heat up a hot water bottle or heat pack, and get comfortable under a blanket. • Any electronic devices that you are not using should be turned off at the power point. Even when in standby, electronic devices can use up to 10 per cent of your electricity. Jordan Springs Community Grants are now open Bring your idea to life!
