During a recent upgrade of street lighting, Meadowvale
made the switch to solar street lamps.
Saving not only on total upgrade costs, the solar lighting also
means no electricity from the grid is used. Solar panels make electricity
from the sun and store them in batteries to use overnight.
At Meadowvale, the sun still shines
throughout the night.
