PENINSULA CLUB
The Men’s Shed is a workshop space that’s accessible to all residents.
While they use it to carry out personal work such as repairs, woodworking and painting,
it also provides a facility where community-based projects can be undertaken.
Peninsula Club resident, Leon Smith heads up the Men’s Shed at the village
where much of the village library shelving, indoor bowls storage boxes, shelving at the gym,
a key cabinet for the offıce and many other small projects were constructed. Leon tells
us the residents who worked on these items are proud of their achievements.
