CLASSIC RESIDENCES
‘Locals Creating Wildlife Passages’ is a project
that supports wildlife habitat pathways from different locations
in the Glen Eira, Bayside and Kingston municipalities.
Classic residents work alongside local schools on the project,
demonstrating how many generations can work together
to celebrate biodiversity and the uniqueness of their local wildlife.
The aim of this project is to encourage awareness of the habitat needs
of local animals and to provide those habitats to the animals
and native fauna. The scheme fosters community relationships through
inter-generational learning experiences.
