READING OUR RAP
OUR RAP PRINCIPLES
Our RAP Advisory Panel established the principles guiding the RAP’s
design and implementation when it first met in June 2010.
The first half of this document details a report on our progress over
the course of our first RAP 2011-2015. The second half documents our
refreshed Elevate RAP goals and targets for 2016-2018. Both the report
on progress and the Elevate RAP are divided into five focus areas:
• Building respect and valuing the culture of Australia’s First People
• Growing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership
• Building respectful relationships to deliver opportunities
• Collaboration built on respect
• Governance, monitoring and reporting.

“We’ve built a genuine respect with Lendlease which makes it easier to
have the tough conversations about getting our mob into jobs right
across the industry – not just at entry level but as project managers,
site managers, engineers, as CEOs of subcontractor companies.”
Jason Glanville, Chair,
Australian Indigenous
Governance Institute.
