Stephen Baily, Project Engineer, strives to live sustainably by using
solar power and turning all appliances off at the power point.
This reduces standby power which can account for 10% of an electricity bill.
Stephen also looks to source his food sustainably:
“To reduce food miles, we shop at the local farmers market and
grow our own veggies. We make all our own jams and preserves from what we
can grow and source direct from the farmer at the market. We also keep
chickens to provide eggs and fertiliser for the garden.”
