The award recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding
leadership in adopting practices that position environmental
and social performance as priority areas of corporate responsibility
and performance, alongside financial results. It acknowledges
those organisations that understand their broader societal
responsibilities and their potential influence within the community
to foster sustainability, as well as within their own supply chains.
Providing focused consideration to environmental and social
outcomes is in our DNA and has been an important part of our
design and processes since 1958.
In Retirement Living, we believe that when you create a
retirement village that fosters the importance of community,
has respect for the environment and achieves all this in
a financially responsible way, then that community and its
