Green thumbs clear the way!
Vera Hunt, along with the Harbourside Village gardening group, noticed the veggie
garden had become overgrown with oleanders and creepers to become a real eyesore.
The group decided to clear it out and turn it into an oasis with a variety of fruit trees
and a herb garden along the sides. The latest addition is rhubarb plants to add some colour.
Vera and her group are impressed at the success of the project and are
delighted to see that people now regularly frequent the garden.
