Lendlease Retirement Living wanted to understand
the benefit of social programs and initiatives on resident and
community wellbeing as well as business profit.
To better understand social value Lendlease has developed
a Social Return on Investment framework that has been peer
reviewed by international experts. The framework has enabled
us to better account for benefits of social programs and
initiatives provided to residents at villages. This initiative was
rolled out in the form of a
‘Live Well Passport’
and a social
calendar with a 12-month program of health and wellbeing
initiatives offered at the village. The results enable Lendlease
to target social investment that generates the most value to our
residents, and Lendlease. Quantifying the benefits of social
programs at our villages demonstrates leadership in the industry
and improves our village offering.
