LENDLEASE ATTENDED THE FIRST AIME GALA MASQUERADE BALL IN
NOVEMBER 2014 AS THEIR VERY OWN SUPERHERO, AIME FOUNDER
JACK MANNING-BANCROFT. OVER 93% OF INDIGENOUS HIGH SCHOOL
STUDENTS IN THE AIME PROGRAM COMPLETED YEAR 12 IN 2014.
“At AIME we believe Indigenous kids
are born superheroes, we just show ‘em how to fly.
Through our partnership, Lendlease has enabled 1000s of Indigenous
kids’ lives to lift off as they leave the AIME program finishing school
and transitioning into university or employment at the same rate
as every Australian child. In the last three years alone, since our
partnership commenced we’ve grown from working with 1,400 kids per
year across the Eastern seaboard to supporting 4,500 kids nationwide.
Additionally, the support of Lendlease staff as volunteer mentors and
guests has allowed our students to engage with engineers, project
managers and other professions they may have never considered or
dreamt of pursuing. Thank you to the Lendlease executive, and indeed
the entire company for walking with us and we look forward to all we
can achieve together in the future - let’s keep changing the game.”
Jack Manning-Bancroft,
AIME Founder.
